O ddydd i ddydd, rydych yn uniongyrchol atebol i'r Cydgysylltydd Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol (Cydlynydd ADY).
Rhagymadrodd: Dyma restr o gyfrifoldebau y gall fod angen 'Cynorthwyydd Cefnogi Dysgu' yn Ysgol Friars i'w cyflawni. Gall gael ei ddiwygio yn dilyn ymgynghoriad. Nid yw'n rhestr gyflawn ond mae'n rhoi arweiniad ar rai gofynion a dyletswyddau allweddol
Dyletswyddau Cyffredinol: Cefnogi’r holl randdeiliaid i hyrwyddo cynnydd addysgol a rheoli ymddygiad disgyblion o fewn a thu allan i’r ystafell ddosbarth, trwy:
1. Ensure an appropriate level of pastoral care to individuals under the guidance of the class teacher.
2. Working with, and support pupils withdrawn from mainstream lessons (wholly or partly).
3. Promoting the emotional, social, behavioural, health and wellbeing of individual pupils.
4. Undertaking individual/group testing for pupils for the purpose of ‘needs analysis’ assessment.
5. Supporting the classroom teacher with changes to the pupils IDP, Educational needs and their behavioral needs.
6. Support teaching staff in mentoring pupils – under the guidance of the relevant PC and agreement of the ALNCO/Assistant ALNCO
7. Supporting pupils who are transferring into the school or who are returning following a sustained period of absence – under the guidance of the relevant PC and agreement of the ALNCO/Assistant ALNCO
8. Advising/guiding pupils on matters such as their education, behaviour and attendance/punctuality.
9. Motivating and encouraging pupils’ behaviour through encouraging their self-respect/worth.
10. Giving verbal feedback to pupils in relation to their progress, successes, behaviour and attendance/punctuality – as agreed under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
11. Liaising with feeder primary school and external agencies when collating information relating to new pupils – under the guidance of the relevant PC and agreement of the ALNCO/Assistant to ALNCo.
12. Supporting pupils in accessing resources and strategies to enhance their education.
13. Supporting teaching staff in planning, analysing and adapting teaching resources to suit the needs of the individual pupil.
14. Supporting the teachers’ monitoring and assessment of pupils to identify progress made in relation to their agreed targets.
15. Providing accurate and detailed feedback to other staff to support pupil progress.
16. Assisting teaching staff in recording individual pupil progress in relation to their behaviour, attendance, punctuality, etc, report card, under the guidance of the relevant PC or ALNCO/Assistant ALNCO.
17. Developing a professional relationship with parents/guardians.
18. Liaising with relevant Year Team Leaders in matters relating to attendance and punctuality.
19. Supporting the implementation, monitoring and recording of activities agreed within a pupil’s ‘Individual Development Plan.
20. Being aware of the type of activities, courses, institutions and individuals who are available to support individual pupils and their needs to further their learning.
21. Ensuring that specialist resources, educational plans and equipment are used to support pupils when highlighted.
22. Attending and participating in meetings, training courses and other planned activities as required to meet the aims and ethos of the school.
23. Communicating professionally and effectively with internal agencies, external agencies and teaching staff for the purpose of supporting education and inclusion on individual pupils.
24. Having a sound knowledge and understanding of the school’s ‘child protection policy, health and safety policy’ and the’ date protection policy’, and to refer any related concerns to the relevant member of staff.
