Purpose of the Post.
Receive workplace experiences and support to complete an apprenticeship and gain qualifications in the field.
The service offers an initial period as a warden over the summer before moving into a business administration role in September, developing technical, communication and marketing content skills while working across the parks departments.

Main Duties.
The main purpose of the service is to manage and develop Gwynedd's rural parks by maintaining the land and biodiversity, supporting heritage and public welfare, and providing a safe and engaging visitor experience through effective management, customer service and marketing activities.
The main role of a Business and Marketing Apprentice is to support the day-to-day work of the park by providing customer service, assisting with office tasks and creating marketing content, answering queries, updating records and contributing to the organisation of events to improve the visitor experience and public communication.
The main duties of the role will be to:
To support the day-to-day operations of the park by providing excellent customer service to visitors, schools and community groups.
Answering inquiries, managing orders and renewing records accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with office tasks such as filing, data entry and document processing.
Create and contribute to marketing content, including updating social media and promoting the park's activities.
Support the organisation and delivery of events by working with staff and volunteers.
Develop technical skills through the use of booking systems, office software and digital marketing methods.
Work as a warden over the summer to understand the operations of the parks and build a strong working relationship with the team.
Follow the Council's policies on health and safety, equality, data protection and carbon reduction.
