Environment
Agriculture
Countryside/Forestry Management
Project management
Or valid experience

Degree in Real Estate or land valuation
Relevant training in public Rights of Way and/or Countryside Access Management
Relevant Professional membership, such as RICS, IPROW.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
Experience of dealing with landowners and stakeholders.
Experience of discussing public access issues with landowners
Able to work as part of a team or as an individual without direct supervision.
Experience of implementing relevant projects, such as creating new paths/negotiating access
DESIRABLE
Experience of drafting legal contracts.
Experience of preparing written reports and presenting information verbally.
Experience of dealing with legal matters relating to public access
Experience of implementing compensation schemes for landowners
Background knowledge about agriculture and land management
Experience of undertaking online land searches
Experience in Project Management
SKILLS AND SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
General IT skills including the following software packages:
• Microsoft office
• Reading and understanding maps
• Current valid driving licence

Use of Mapping systems such as Arc Map
Undertaking online land searches using Land Registry.

Able to follow a conversation or discussion through the medium of Welsh and English on a professional level and discuss general day to day topics in the field in order to present information and express opinions.
Able to give a pre-prepared presentation and respond to any comments and questions on it in Welsh or English.

Able to understand standard written Welsh and English; both formal and informal.
Able to gather information from various sources such as letters, reports, articles through the medium of Welsh and English in order to fulfil the post.
Writing
Present written information confidently by letter, more detailed and technical report formats, and respond to written requests conveying information, ideas and opinion in Welsh and English (help is available to check the work).
