Corporate Director
Salary: £97,940 a £108,595

- Are you keen to be part of a team of officers and elected members who give their best to the residents of our communities?
We are looking to recruit a Corporate Director who will play a key role in leading the way in achieving Cyngor Gwynedd’s vision for the future.
Cyngor Gwynedd is a unique and distinctive organisation, with a workforce and Elected Members who are enthusiastic and committed to delivering the best for the people of the County and is regarded as one of the best performing local authorities in Wales. One of the challenges for the future will be to continue to innovate and provide quality services to the residents of Gwynedd.
We want to appoint individuals who will be able to work closely with the Chief Executive, our political leaders and external partners to translate their aspirations for the people of Gwynedd into sound action. The Corporate Director will assist the Chief Executive in leading and shaping a culture based on respect, trust, accountability, empowerment and equipping others.
We are looking for an experienced and innovative leader, who has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead Cyngor Gwynedd staff to turn the vision into a reality. The challenge is big but an exciting one, and we want to hear from talented individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of the people of the County
We are progressive in our use of Welsh language and have established ourselves as a leading employer in the field, operating internally through the medium of Welsh and offering all our services bilingually. The candidate will need to reach the linguistic level specified in the person specification.
