•Understanding and experience of matters involving economic development, rural development, community development and entrepreneurship
•Experience of developing and drawing up action plans and moving forward with the implementation of action plans
•Awareness and understanding of the Council Plan and the strategic context, and the potential impact of its implementation
•Experience of managing third party contracts where relevant
•Experience of monitoring and evaluating projects / plans
•Experience of supporting the community's commitment to projects and experience of working with public sector bodies, statutory bodies and small community organisations
•Experience of managing projects / schemes
•Experience of summing up and monitoring budgets and adherence to within financial regulations, including those of Gwynedd Council and Welsh Government.
•The candidate must be creative and have the ability to solve problems in order to create new and innovative ideas and in order to implement the solutions.
•Experience of working to a tight schedule and under pressure
•An understanding of business models and planning
•Able to develop, foster and maintain a good working relationship with stakeholders, businesses, representatives from communities and the Government on all levels
