Main Duties
Overview
The successful apprentice will have the opportunity to work as part of the Electoral Team getting to understand and undertake the day to day operation of service and elector registration and organizing and administering elections.
All Gwynedd Council apprentices are expected to demonstrate the following:

Here is an overview of the main duties of the job:
Processing applications to register
Maintain absentee voting records, process absentee ballot applications and annual renewal forms
Processing requests from electors for voting ID documentation
Handle enquiries regarding registration and voting by post, telephone, email, and face-to-face
Assist in the organisation and administration of elections and referendums at all levels
Participate in campaigns to raise awareness, improve registration levels and interest in national and local democracy and encourage voting
Assisting with electoral boundary reviews and polling place reviews
