Purpose of the post
•Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the centre of everything we do.
•Support the work of delivering on Gwynedd and Eryri's sustainable tourism priorities
•Support the work of developing and creating communication assets to use on the Eryri Mountains and Coast website and social media, and ensure an effective implementation of those accounts in accordance with Cyngor Gwynedd's guidance and policies
•Supervise the management of the Gwynedd Ambassador Scheme
Responsibility for functions
•Equipment - Office equipment for the purposes of the post, responsible for files.
•Support the work of delivering on Gwynedd and Eryri's sustainable tourism priorities and implement marketing projects funded through grant assistance.
•Support the work of developing and creating text, film and commissioning pictures to be newly installed or upgrade the Eryri Mountains and Coast website content and administrate enquiries linked to the daily implementation of the county tourism website.
•Support the work of creating a text and present it on Eryri Mountains and Coast's social media. This would include an integrated link between the service's different digital platforms and Eryri Mountains and Coast's website. Monitor the trends and good practice in the field and reflect it in the outcome of the work.
•Be responsible for creating communication assets in accordance with the brand guidance and Council's policies on behalf of the Service, and Departmentally from time to time.
•Monitor the feedback and observations shared on the service's social media and implement them as required
•Support the work of developing county content in the form of digital modules, to be set on the regional tourism Ambassadors' structure.
•Coordinate the management of Gwynedd Ambassador scheme's information platform and respond to enquiries deriving from the scheme and rewarding those who have completed the different levels of modules.
•Be responsible for coordinating a scheme to promote and market the plan's availability and report on the project's outcomes. Represent the service in regional meetings regarding the county Ambassador Scheme.
•Engage with the business sector, social enterprises, volunteering organisations and individuals to encourage people to be a part of the county Ambassador scheme.
•Assist the service to prepare and design publicity material as required.
•Attend shows, activities and events outside of hours and on weekends as required.
•Accept responsibility for equipment associated with the post, work files, monitoring arrangements and for keeping a record of resources.

•Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the workplace in accordance with the responsibilities noted in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Council’s Health and Safety Policy.

•Undertake any other reasonable duty which corresponds to the salary level and responsibility level of the job.
•Be responsible for reporting any concern or suspicion that a child or vulnerable adult is being abused.
