We are looking to appoint a Procurement and Contracts manager to be the professional lead for procurement across the service. The successful candidate will be expected to work with staff across the Service to develop the sourcing / procurement system, including the processes for periodical reviews as well as overseeing the management of our Stores department. The appointed person will be a strong and effective communicator, with the ability to work on their own initiative and hold a simple conversation at Welsh Level 2. With a proactive and self-motivated approach, excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop effective working relationships with internal and external individuals and groups across all levels. The role is based at our Headquarters in St Asaph Business Park, but we also offer the ability to undertake agile working, where you can work remotely from home, subject to availability, as well as being available to work from other North Wales Fire and Rescue Service locations.
