Purpose of the Post.
•Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the heart of everything we do.
•Investigate innovative ways to encouraging Gwynedd residents, schools and visitors to adopt affirmative behavior in order to achieve our goals as a department.
•Support the Department in developing and introducing a new approach with a focus on using digital channels and social media.

Main Duties
Assist on effective communication and engagement campaigns and techniques, with specific consideration to the following duties:
Communication and Engagement:
•Produce interesting communication materials in all media formats
•Report, measure and evaluate the performance of those initiatives and activities undertaken including social media analytics.
•Investigate the best practices in terms of public engagement work and promote innovative ways of consulting.
•Prepare press releases, posters, leaflets, social website messages, simple video clips and short articles in Council publications to promote engagement exercises
Behaviour Change:
•Research new and innovative behaviour change initiatives through communication, marketing and engagement channels.
•Develop digital behaviour change techniques to engage with the public
•Ensure that all services within the department promote behaviour change techniques in order to reach their strategic goals.
•Produce attractive behaviour change marketing materials for campaigns, exhibitions and events
Networking:
•Develop a good working relationship with all the department's stakeholders, such as Cadw'ch Cymru yn Daclus, WRAP Cymru, WLGA.
•Develop good working relationships with the Communications Team to ensure that our messages follow the Council's policies
•Assist the department where necessary by attending relevant regional and national forums and groups.
•Inspire and coordinate external partners to support behaviour change initiatives within the County.
•Assist the work of any specialist agencies that may be drafted in to help carry out specific activities.
Corporate:
•Responsibility for self-development.

•Undertake any other reasonable duty which corresponds to the salary level and responsibility level of the job.
•Responsibility to report any concern or suspicion that a child or vulnerable adult is being abused.
