Non Domestic Rates Registration Form : January 2022

This grant came to an end on 14/02/2022 17:00. It is no longer possible to submit a claim.

The purpose of the grant scheme is to support businesses with their immediate cash flow and to help them survive the economic consequences of additional restrictions introduced on the 26th December 2021 necessary to control the spread of Covid-19

The funding is intended to cover the business impact from the 13th December 2021 to the 14th February 2022

i) Grant A:

A £2,000 cash grant payment for hospitality, retail, tourism and leisure businesses or supply chain businesses supplying this sector with a greater than 40% drop in turnover over the funding period, with Small Business Rate Relief (SBRR) qualifying hereditaments with a rateable value under £12,000

The same ratepayer may only receive this grant for a maximum of two properties in each local authority

ii) Grant B:

A £4,000 cash grant payment for hospitality, retail, tourism and leisure businesses chain businesses supplying this sector with a greater than 40% drop in turnover over the funding period, with qualifying hereditaments with a rateable value between £12,001 and £51,000

iii) Grant C:

A £6,000 cash grant payment for hospitality, retail, tourism and leisure businesses chain businesses supplying this sector with a greater than 40% drop in turnover over the funding period, occupying hereditaments with a rateable value between £51,001 and £500,000

For all businesses, their hereditament must have been on the NDR rating list as of the 1st September 2021 and the ratepayer needs to have been in occupation of the property as of the 30th November 2021

The value of the Non Domestic Rates Grant is made to you in accordance with Article 3.2(4) of the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement. You will need to declare this subsidy to any other aid awarding body who requests information from you on how much aid you have received.

I declare that my business has been impacted by the restrictions brought into place on the 26th December 2021, with supply chain businesses impacted by a reduction in turnover of at least 40%

I understand that I can be awarded a Non-Domestic Rates Grant(s) OR a Discretionary Grant for this business but I cannot be awarded both types of grant for this business

I understand that if a grant payment is made and evidence subsequently emerges to show that I am not eligible for that grant payment, the Local Authority, acting on behalf of Welsh Government, may require repayment of the grant in full or part from me. Also, should it be determined that the payment was made as a result of an act of fraud by me or on my behalf, legal action may be taken against me

The final decision is at the discretion of the Local Authority, and there is no formal appeals process, however Local Authorities will review any reasonable representations.
