If you have recorded a positive result for COVID-19 on the NHS Wales website and have been contacted by NHS Wales Test, Trace, protect service (TTP) advising you to self-isolate, you may be entitled to financial support. . From 28 March 2022, unvaccinated close contacts will no longer be eligible for the scheme and the Financial Support button on the app will disappear. Unvaccinated close contacts identified before 28 March 2022 will be required to self-isolate and register their details and can submit an application to the scheme within 21 days of their isolation period. You must have registered your positive Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test result within 24 hours of receiving the result. If you do not do this, your test result will not be registered and you will not be eligible for the Self-Isolation Support Payment. Self-Isolation Support Payment If you meet ALL of the eligibility criteria, you are entitled to an Isolation Payment of £500 • You have been told to self-isolate by: o NHS Wales, Test, Trace, Protect service (TTP) on or after 23 October 2020, o your child has been asked to isolate from their school, childcare setting or further education college on or after 23 October 2020, o you have received notification from the NHS Covid-19 App because you have been in close contact with a positive case on or after 1 February 2021 • You are employed or self-employed • You cannot work from home and will lose income as a result • You or your partner are currently receiving at least one of the following benefits: Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, income-based Employment and Support Allowance, income-based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support, Housing Benefit and/or Pension Credit Discretionary Payment You may be eligible for a £500 Discretionary Payment if you meet all of the other eligibility criteria above, but: • You or your partner Do Not currently receive Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, income-based Employment and Support Allowance, income-based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support, Housing Benefit and/or Pension Credit • You will face financial Hardship as a result of not being able to work while you are self- isolating.
