1. Robert Evan, senior of Brynceirch, pa.[rish] Llangadfan, co. Montg., gent. 2. Robert David of pa.[rish] Mallwyd, yeoman. AGREEMENT concerning the letting of Tyddyn y Braich and Tyddyn Llanllyfod, pa.[rish] Mallwyd, at an annual rent of £9. 10. 0. for 7 years. [The said Robert Evan reserving two rooms ’one at both ends of the barn at Tythyn y Braich, now in the occupation of Mary Evan, and a piece of ground on the pasture to sow three measures of potatoes’, the said Robert David to allow 10 horse loads of manure yearly and ’liberty of common for his sheep at Cae Afon and also room and liberty to shear the said sheep at Tythyn y Braich’, and also right of egress and regrees for felling and carrying away timber; further the said Robert David should not fell down trees ’nor plough nor sow no more ground .... than may be well and sufficiently dunged and manured’, and he should ’bring the said Robert Evan’s sheep from Cae Afon to the said Tythyn y Braich twice every year if required’, and pay for the benefit of the watercourse; and finally the said Robert David should ’upon his own costs and charges take down and rebuild such part of the dwelling house as now begins to be out of repair’.]
