1. Festiniog [Ffestiniog] Railway Company. 2. John Whitehead Greaves of Tan-y- rallt, co. Carnarvon [Caernarfon], slate merchant. DEED OF COVENANT for the conveyance on such Railway of the produce of certain slate quarries called Rhiwbryfdir and Duffws in pa.[rish] Festiniog [Ffestiniog]. CONSIDERATION: That the tonnage to be paid by John Whitehead Greaves, his executors, administrators and assigns shall be 3/3d per ton for the whole distance, and at that rate for any shorter distance.
