DRAFT LETTER: W Glynne Griffith, Bodegroes, to John Hampton Hampton, mayor of Beaumaris [Biwmares], Henllys,[Beaumaris (Biwmares)], in receipt of his letter enclosing the late Lord Newborough’s bond for £1000 to the Beaumaris [Biwmares] Corporation, and confirming the transfer of £1000 from the present Lord Newborough’s account at the Caernarvon Bank to Sir Robert Williams, J H Hampton and W Rowland Williams, stressing his Lordship’s pleasure in contributing to the general welfare of Beaumaris [Biwmares] and his pride in having his name associated with the late Lord Bulkeley in a measure which is likely to be beneficial to that town.
