THE BOOK OF LAWS of the Garrison at Fort Williamsburg, Glynllifon Park, setting out the garrison regulations re the admission of members, celebrating of the anniversary, governing of the garrison, uniform, etc. The garrison was established to promote the principles of freedom, firmness and friendship on the 22nd September 1761, the Coronation Day of George III. The rules mainly cover the decorum and dress of the members. The breach of any was to involve the offender in drinking a prescribed number of bumpers from the fort cup. The book also contains rules for the regulation of the Holy Order of Sisterhood and Huntresses, established in honour of the Lady of St. Hubert and "united, connected and regulated with the free, firm, and friendly garrison of Williamsburg".
