ACCOUNT BOOK of Ffestiniog slate quarry, with some particulars of Chwarel y Ffridd, Chwarel Llyn Bowydd and Chwarel y Fotty. The book is in four parts, separately numbered. The first part contains detailed accounts of payment made every six weeks to the bargain takers with details of the quantity of each size of slate produced with accounts of payments made for powder, blasting, clearing rubbish, upkeep of roads and buildings, straw for stowage, the haulage of slates from the quarries to Mr. Holland’s quay, boatage from the quarry to Port Madocks or waiting vessels, with names of some of the boats, and musters and accounts of freights of 22 Aug. 1823 - 31 Dec. 1828. The second part contains details of slates sold 19 Feb. 1824 - 10 Aug. 1831 with particulars of their destination. The third part contains summaries of disbursements 10 Oct. 1823 - 7 July 1830.
