XD2/5267, of Lord Newborough and John Wynn, defendants, that the Master be ordered to enquire and certify whether the purchase of [Tower House] and the gallery [in the chapel of Caernarfon] and the [Ardde estate] were proper purchases under the will of Sir John Wynn and whether the respective sums of £1000 and £4000 were reasonable prices for them.
