LETTER: William Salesbury to his son, O[wen] Salesbury at Grays Inn, [London], informing him that W.S.’s cousin Kynaston has asked for O.S.’s sister’s hand in marriage. He would not match her before conferring with his son, and two requests that he tries to learn Kynaston’s disposition. He will allow £100 for buying and selling land. Instructions re further study and a financial allowance.
