LETTER: William Salesbury, Bach[ymbyd], [co. Denbs.] to his son Owen Salesbury at Grays Inn. He has received the copy of Edward’s purchase. He has served a process upon Robert ap John ap Robert, and will be glad to get a better tenant. He discusses an agreement over lands in Botavlog with John Thomas, and a process upon Joseph Vaughan and his wife. Personal news and mentions of London acquaintances. If cousin John Wynn be called to the bar he will give him his first fee, of five 20/- pieces. He requests to red caps and garden seeds, especially groundsel.
