LETTER: Luke Roberts, Conway to Capt. Williams asking whether Capt. Williams knows of anyone in want of a vessel as he has one of above 160 tons in frame, and could get her ready in a short time. He gives measurements of the vessel. He will probably take 4 or 6 shares himself, or even the half. He is now building a vessel of 160 tons for Preston which is intended to be very fast - to beat the Three Janes if possible.
