LETTER: J. Lloyd, Trustee [Ebenezer Chapel] to the Rev. William Kelk [Wesleyan Chapel Committee]. He is sending the cancelled notes to the value of £1,412 and a post office order for 7/6d. He has received the deeds from Mr. John Jones, London, but believes that a mistake has been made as there should have been two deeds. He asks if the committee could lend [the Trustees of Ebenezer] £300 as they have been obliged to use some of it already and have also bound themselves to pay Mr. I. Jones, London the balance of a loan by May. He thanks W.K. for his kindness.
