LETTER: David Thomas, London, to his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Thomas, Cafe, Castle Sq., Caernarfon, acknowledging letter and parcel containing pancakes. He is pleased to hear from William Williams that his father was not hurt and is now all right. Asks them when they next write to Uncle Robert in America, if he can get Ruskin’s works in the must common binding. They are worth having costing 2/- there but 17/- here. He is sorry that Pritchard did not get Honours although he has been reading for the last nine months. He feels it must be very hard on Capt. Williams seeing Anderson in his place. He supposes they have heard from Uncle Henry re Capt. Williams. He hopes Capt. Williams does not blame John as it would place bad feelings upon them as well. He is pleased to know that his father is teaching John & Ann to skate. The weather has been good for this with plenty of ice.
