LETTER AND COPY LETTER: Charles E. Howlett, Office of Woods, 1 Whitehall Place, London S.W. to Cledwyn Owen, esq., solicitor, Pwllheli re Madryn Estate and Llanbedrog Quarries. States that minerals wider lands numbered 649 a, b and c were reserved to the Crown but that almost all the lands mentioned were granted to Sir Love Jones Parry. Crown leases cannot be assigned without the consent of the Minister of Woods and applicants must furnish the names and addresses of two gentlemen of position in order that enquiries can be made as to their eligibility.
