LETTER: [?Wm. Williams] [Jnr.] Plymouth to his parents at Tuhwntir Bwlch, Porthmadog. He has only just time (in his wet clothes) to write to say they are arrived here in a gale. There is a boat alongside to take this letter ashore. They have to shift their berth out of the man of war anchorage where they are now. He thanks God that they are safe. His hands are so cold he has difficulty in writing. His parents can imagine how it blew when they could hardly carry close reefed topsails and reef course to clear a dead lee shore. [Formerly W.A.
