DEPOSITIONS of Henry Williams of Pentraeth, co. Anglesey, yeoman (age 79) and Jane Thomas of Llanallgo, co. Anglesey, widow (age 70). 1) Henry Williams was servant to Hugh Jones of Brynhyrddun, co. Anglesey, who held the Mill called Pentraeth. Testifies that the road from the mill went through the river between the mill and a limekiln or a house of William Jones of Tanyrallt, through the brow of a hill belonging to William Jones of Tanyrallt to a field of Sir Nicholas Bayly’s called Cae’r Berllan beside a quillet of William Jones to a field called Gallt y felin alias Bron lleppa. Testifies that a field called Cae Bach alias Cae Pyttattws joining Bron y felin field was the property of William Jones of Tanrallt and was let to Mr. Humphrey together with Merddyn poeth (formerly belonging to the late Mr. Bodvel, now purchased by Mr. Williams of Tyfry). Testifies that the brow of the hill from Tanyrallt to a field called Llain yr odun was always looked on as part of Tanyrallt. 2) Jane Thomas testifies that her husband Thomas Prichard about 40 years ago took a mill called felin Pentraeth from Mr. Hugh Jones, late of Brynhyrddun, for a rent of £8 per annum. As there was no house on the premises Hugh Jones directed him to build a house on part of the mill lands on the west side of the river Tan yr Allt. Testifies that the road from the mill was between the mill and lime kiln to the brow of a hill etc. (as first testimony).
