COPY WILL of Margaret Jones of Holyhead, co. Anglesey (1 May 1790). Leaves her houses and lands in the town of Newborough and parish of Llanbedr Newborough, co. Anglesey called Plas mawr, Sign, Tyddyn Pwrpas and John Hughes’ house to her daughter Jane Jones. To her grandaughter Margaret Jones, daughter of her son Hugh Wynne Jones, clerk, leaves £100. To her grandson William Jones, son of Hugh Wynne Jones, leaves £100. To her grandson William Jones, second son of her daughter Mary Jones, leaves £100. To her grandaughters Mary Jones and Margaret Jones, daughters of her daughter Jane Jones, leaves £100 between them. Leaves her leasehold houses in the town of Holyhead to her grandaughter Margaret Jones, daughter of her daughter Mary Jones, during her lifetime and then to her grandson John Jones brother, of Margaret Jones. To Mary, daughter of the late W. Jones of Bryn Gwran, now wife of Richard Williams of Holyhead, leaves 2 guineas. To her daughter Mary Jones leaves £50 and a cow called Scuthra, together with her best feather bed, bolster, bedstead, curtains, blankets and coverlet in the chamber over the parlour, also her best chairs, press cupboard, 6 pairs of sheets, 4 silver table spoons and 1 dozen towels. To her daughter Jane Jones leaves £50 and the rest of her furniture, goods, and farming stock, etc. in the parish of Holyhead. The rest of her goods she leaves to her son Hugh Wynne Jones, whom she appoints as executor.
