To his eldest son William Williams leaves all the furniture in the Hall and to his wife Jane 40/- to buy a ring. To William Williams leaves all the furniture in the parlour and all the bedsteads in the house and all the brewing vessels. To his servants Mary Jones and John Edwards leaves 5/- each. Under a power reserved to him in a deed of settlement of 25 Chas. II to levy a charge on certain lands after his death for the benefit of his younger children, he leaves to eldest daughter Anne Green £10 and to her daughter Mary Green £40 unless she marries without her grandmother’s consent in which case the money is to go to her brother William Green.
