COPY WILL of Mr. John Maurice of Caernarfon, co. Caernarfon, gent. Leaves his houses and lands in the parish of Llanrug, co. Caernarfon called Drwsyddeugoed, Kaenewydd, Caerwethys, Erwgeyn, Kaergethin and Brynyclochydd and a quillet in the lands of William Rowland of Crug, drover, near the churchyard of Llanrug, and a moiety in a house and lands in the parish of Nefyn held by John Griffith and a moiety of lands in same parish held by John Owen, to his nephew John Morris, son of his sister Katherine by Edward Morris of Abermarchnad, co. Montgomery and his heirs; in case of default of issue the lands are to go to the Bishop of Bangor and other trustees to pay £10 per annum for apprenticing or educating two poor boys from the parish of Llanrug and two from the parish of Caernarfon.
