PROBATE OF WILL of Mrs. Catherine Wynne of Ystymkegid, co. Caernarfon, widow. Under a power in her marriage settlement she makes provision for her younger children. The property she inherited from her late father Robert Owen comprising a capital messuage called Ystymkegid and its demesne lands, also other land in the parish of Llanfihangel y Pennant and Llanffryndwy, co. Caernarfon, are devised to John Glynne and Thomas Glynne, Esq. for 21 years for the benefit of her younger children, William Wynne and Ellis Wynne in the manner set down in her will. Her son in law Rees Wynne is to have £120. To her son Ellis Wynne she leaves the unexpired term of a lease of the lands of Maurice William in Llecheiddior, co. Caernarfon. To her daughter Frances she leaves money owed to her by various people. She also leaves Frances 2 best feather beds. To her eldest son Owen Wynne she leaves 20/-. To her son Ellis Wyn she leaves 20/-. To her daughter Jane Brynkir she leaves 20/-. To her grandchild Katherine Wynne she leaves a mare and colt, a feather bed. To her grandchild Catherine Brynkir leaves a mare and colt and a feather bed. To her son William Wynne leaves a house and land called Carreg Creth in the parish of Penmorfa in the county of Caernarfon. Leaves money for repair of the church of Llanfihangel and Bangor Cathedral. Other small bequests to her kinswomen and servants. Leaves the rest of her property to her son William Wynne.
