NOTICE by Rev. E. Davies, Llanllechid Rectory, Bangor. He has no account of the Gwen Fletcher Charity, but according to the 1831 Terrier, she left £60 to be invested and the interest used to buy coals, shoes and stockings for 6 of the poorest old women in the parish. There are no further records of this charity. According to the Parliamentary Report of 1786, no interest had been received since 1781.
