WILL of Richard Lloyd of Ty Newydd, Esquire. He bequeaths all those messuages, t’ments and lands, pa. Llannor, known as Penllwyn, Tir Llewelyn, otherwise Ty Rhwng y Ddau Bwll, Tyddyn Gwladyn, Llain y Goetre, Tir Cwyn, Pentre, Cae y Wern, together with the meadow or parcel of land called Gweirglodd Cae y Wern and also that messuage, t’ment and lands called Rhos y Foel, pa Bodvean, to Martha, wife of John Prichard of Llain y Goetre, cordwainer; all that messuage, t’ment house and garden in t. Pwllheli, pa Deneio, to his cousin Ann Jones, widow, the present tenant; all other messuages, t’ments and lands, pas. Llannor, Llanllyfni, Deneio, Glynnog and Llanbeblig and all his real estate to Roger Griffith of Mlllman Street near Bedford Row, Co. Middlesex, gentleman, and John Jones of Caernarfon, apoth- ecary in trust that from the rents and profits of that messuage, tenement and lands called Tan y Bryn they pay £30 p. a. for 2 years to his cousin Owen Lloyd, officer of Excise of Coventry, co. Warwick, from the rents and profits of that messuage, tenement and lands called Rhyllecfi, they must pay £5 p. a. in rent to his cousin John Robert Jones of Tai Forgan, pa Llannor; £20 p. a. to be paid to his son Griffith Lloyd. All remaining rents, issues and profits to go to the aforesaid John Prichard and his wife Martha on the condition that no tenants holding land at the time of his decease be evicted or have their rents raised. Martha, wife of John Prichard is appointed sole executrix. Appended: NOTE stating that as John Robert Jones and Griffith Lloyd are now decd. certain lines in the will were obliterated and the will re-signed and re-sealed 7th May, 1771. NOTE OF PROBATE (21 October, 1773). NOTE (7th December 1772) The will was exhibited at a commission for examination of witnesses in the case of John Prichard and Martha his wife v Robert Lloyd, gent.
