COPY LETTER: Wm. E. Morris, Porthmadog to F.W.A. Roche, esq, stating that he has paid £550 to his credit at the National Provincial Bank on account of Harbour Dues for the quarter ending 30th Sept. Great slacking in the slate trade; quantity of shipments being nearly 4000 less compared with the corresponding quarter last year. £8 of dues of slates yet to come in; expenditure less; £100 more due to Mr. Roche when the account is settled in November.
