COPY OF THE WILL of William Thomas of Pwllheli, architect. He bequeaths all his real and personal property to his wife Catherine. She is to pay £10 p.a. to his son William Thomas. If she survives the son, the £10 is to be divided equally per annum between the son’s widow and daughter. After the said Catherine’s decease the payment is to cease. After her decease, he bequeaths the house, farm and land called Ty Newydd Farm, pa. Llaniestyn to his son William Thomas and in succession to his nearest blood relation. He bequeaths two houses in the borough of Pwllheli, the one he now occupies and the house next to it, together with the residue of his personal property to his son William Thomas, surgeon. He bequeaths the houses, farm, and land called Bwlch y Groes Isay pa. Llaniestyn, and two houses in the borough of Pwllheli, one in the occupation of William Williams, the other lately in the occupation of the late Robert Roberts, relieving officer, to his son Evan Thomas, surgeon. He bequeaths three houses in the town of Pwllheli to his daughter Elizabeth for her lifetime and then to her daughter, Eliza Davies. If Eliza Davies does not survive her mother the houses are to go to the other children by Evan Evans- Catherine, Laura and Thomas Evans. He also bequeaths to his daughter Elizabeth the interest on £400 p.a. for life. He bequeaths to the five orphan children of his late daughter Laura fifty pounds each on their coming of age. Every legatee is to receive his legacy within twelve months of his wife Catherine’s decease, except the houses and lands which they will receive immediately on her death. His sons Thomas Williams and Evan Thomas, surgeons, appointed joint Executors and trustees.
