LEAFLET issued by the Central Church Committee for the Lerpwl School Board Election 18 November 1897. The leaflet urges the electors to support the Rev. George Howell for their division and asks them not to split their votes. The leaflet explains that the Central Church Committee has divided the area into 8 districts to each of which a Church Candidate was allotted and that each elector must only vote for the person chosen for their area, thus securing full representation for the church on the School Board, thereby ensuring `fair play’ for the voluntary schools and low rates.
