LETTER: William P. Burke, St. Mary’s Ville, Cahir, co. Tipperary, to William Rochfort, Cahir Abbey, giving details of the places and/or dates of death of the 9th, 10th and 11th Barons. Included is part of a letter from Dr. Walsh, Superintendent of the Irish College, Paris, to the Mercuu de France, 15th Oct. 1791, re the 11th Baron’s funeral. Also discussed is the life interest of the 9th Baron in the estates and the legitimacy of the claim of James Butler (Glengall) to be heir.
