Project Coordinator

Holyhead, Anglesey

Salary Point 26-27

£27,974.96 - £28,840.76

37 hours per week

plus, on-call for which an additional payment will be made

Digartref Cyf is the lead organisation of a partnership project that has received a 5-year funding grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. The Helping End Homelessness grant, developed in response to the challenge rural homelessness presents across Wales will ensure the partnership project delivers services that aim to balance preventative and responsive approaches within a trauma-informed environment, provide tenant related support, and address the stigma and prejudice faced by homeless people.

If you are passionate and enthusiastic about supporting people who are at risk or experiencing homelessness, to make a positive difference to their lives, have related work experience and have the necessary skills and knowledge, then we would like to hear from you. 

Applicants would be expected to have:

  • Ability to co-ordinate a multi-agency project and having excellent relationship management skills and the ability to work with a range of organisations.
  • Experience of staff and/or volunteer line management
  • Excellent I.T skills, verbal, written, presentation & communication skills
  • Being highly organised
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of those affected by homelessness
  • A flexible approach to working hours including covering an out of hour on-call rota (circa every 5 to 6 weeks) for which an additional payment is made.

Please note:

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

The ability to drive and having access to a car with business insurance is essential for this role.
