Purpose of the post
• Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the heart of everything we do.
•To welcome and deal with customers and their enquires and to receive money for use of the centre’s facilities.
Responsibility for functions
Responsible for receiving money from customers.
Main duties
•Ensure that customers are attended to promptly and that correct information is given at all times.
•To be courteous, while dealing with requests and complaints in a professional manner.
•Receive payments for sessions, lessons, hire of facilities etc.
•Answer the phone promptly and courteously.
•Receive information on individuals and transfer that information on to the computer.
•Respond appropriately when an accident occurs or when the pool/fire alarm rings.
•Fulfill administrative duties as required.
•Responsibility for self-development.
•Ensure compliance with Health and Safety rules in the workplace in accordance with the responsibilities noted in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
•Operate within the Company’s policies in relation to equal opportunities and equality.
•Responsible for managing information in accordance with the Company’s information management guidelines. Ensure that personal information is treated in accordance with Data Protection legislation.
•Commitment to reducing the Company’s carbon emissions in accordance with the Carbon Management Plan, and to encourage others to act positively towards reducing the Company’s Carbon Footprint.
•Undertake any other reasonable duty which corresponds to the salary level and responsibility level of the job.
•Responsibility to report any worry or suspicion that a child or vulnerable adult is being abused

•Shift includes evening and weekends.
