•To provide administrative support to the Senior Manager Safeguarding and Quality
•Providing support to the Safeguarding and Quality Unit, Gwynedd Children and Family Support Service.

Main duties
•Responsible for administering the arrangements for the procedures relating to 'Allegations against individuals in positions of trust' in accordance with Section 5 of the Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
•Arrange meetings, venue, invite members, record, mail and distribute minutes of Section 5 Strategy meetings
•Develop and maintain an up to date database of Section 5 Strategy meetings to ensure actions are taken following meetings e.g. letters are sent out
•Ensure minutes of Section 5 Strategy meetings and relevant documents are recorded on the WCCIS system.
•Administering the Corporate Parenting Panel including scheduling, venue, inviting members and recording meetings.
•Administer the Gwynedd Exploitation Panel including arranging a timetable, venue, inviting members and recording meetings.
•Administering the Out of Hours Service Management Board including scheduling, venue, inviting members and recording Board meetings.
•Administering the Child Death Review Panel including scheduling, venue, inviting members, scheduling and recording Panel meetings.
•Record and organise Safeguarding Leads Group and other meetings on demand (including providing support to record Management Team when Secretary to Head of Children and Family Support Service not available)
•Ensure and maintain up-to-date and accurate lists of Panel and Sub-Group members
•Input LAC information as children start / change / leave care / setting when notifications are received
•Input Health Assessments into WCCIS upon receipt by WCCIS and inform Social Workers and Independent Reviewing Officer that form is WCCIS.
•Provide administrative support to a Senior Safeguarding and Quality Manager by arranging Unit staff supervision meetings, meetings with team managers
•Any other appropriate duties as requested by the Head of Service
•Be aware of the requirements of the Health and Safety Acts and co-operate with the Directorate's Health and Safety and Quality Assurance Officer to ensure compliance with the relevant Health and Safety requirements.

•The Council operates an ongoing program of training and personal skills development and an Appraisal process that contributes to this, the post holder is expected to comply with this.
