LETTER: Jane Rowlands of Wrexham to Humphrey Williams, Clerk of the Peace, acknowledging receipt of a letter from the Clerk, asking her son, Samuel Rowland, to appear at the G.Q.S. in Dolgelley [Dolgellau]. She requests to know why her son is to appear as he is in Hull, Yorkshire, "on tramp". On dorse: "Your son is bound with 2 sureties to appear at the Quarter Sessions.
