RECOGNIZANCE (handwritten, not in usual printed form). Taken by Maurice Lloyd, Esq., J.P. of Maurice Williams, Corwen, glazier, to appear at the next G.Q.S. and ’to abide such order as shall be made by the Court concerning the bastard child’. (No futher details given.) Surety: Above Maurice Williams in £20. William Williams, glazier and Robert Lloyd, labourer, both of Corwen, in £10 each. Appended (Recognizance estimated).
