CONVICTION: Edward Roberts, convicted before R.W. Price and G.P. Lloyd, J.P.’s, of stealing onions from the garden of Jane Davies. Adjudged to forfeit 8s.3d. plus the value of the onions (3d.), with 12s.6d. costs, failing payment, six weeks imprisonment in Dolgelley [Dolgellau] Gaol.
