WILL (copy) of Richard Vaughan of Penmaen Isa, pa. of Dolgellau, Gentleman, in which he bequeathes Penmaen Estate to his son, John Vaughan, or, if he should die without issue, to his grandson, Richard, son of Ellis Jones and Catherine (nee Vaughan) of Moelisbri, pa. of Llanelltyd in trust till he should come of age, or, in the case of his death, to his nephew, Richard Vaughan, shopkeeper of London. He also leaves an annuity of £8 to his daughter, Catherine so long as she does not....."molest or annoy her mother." He bequeathes........."Gwern y Pistill, the Square, the Paddock, the Orchard, and the Banks about the House with the Grazing and Pasturage of Two Cows in the Salt Marsh, and the Keeping of a Horse with the Tenant’s Horse....." to his wife with an annuity of £42.
