PLEA OF TRESPASS:(2 copies), Evan Evans, the plaintiff in the suit, by William Jones, his attorney, complains of Evan Joseph, the defendant before the King at Westminster on 24 January 1834 that he maliciously spoke and published at Towyn false and scandalous words concerning the plaintiff - to the effect that he had stolen a watch worth sixty guineas from his mother.(The plaintiff is described as Evan Tymawr). Also: WRIT to the Sheriff of Merioneth that he supply a jury of 12 men of the co. of Merioneth to hear the plea at Westminster on 31 January 1834.
