Watkins asking what the lowest rent for the Bull Hotel is and whether Mr Evans is to sell everything out; "...I hear that Bala is not as good as it was a few years ago, therefore I expect the rents are lower..."; he could do with the Bull if he can get it cheap enough as he knows all the farmers in the neighbourhood.
