LETTER: A. M. Dunlop, 3 Old Palace Yard, Westminster Abbey, S. W. to W. E. Oakeley, Plas Tan y Bwlch re a copy of Rees Roberts’ letter and Royalty Statements. En dorse LETTERS (copies) Rees Roberts, The Oakeley Upper Quarry, Blaenau Festiniog to A. M. Dunlop re his transfer from Upper to Middle Quarry and that he is feeling very strange there. He feels that someone has misguided AMD with regards to his health; the reason being bereavement of his departed wife more that ill- health. A. M. Dunlop (as above) to Rees Roberts re. spending a day with him at Middle Quarry. Hopes he will go thro’ everything with Robt. Roberts at Upper Quarry and does not want to hear about any jealousy or nonsense, etc.. Enclosed ROYALTY STATEMENT for quarter ending June 30, 1883. Includes the following slate quarries: Welsh Slate Co., J. W. Greaves Talywaenydd, Cwmorthin and Oakeley Upper and Middle Quarries.
