XPQ/100/76/8

LETTER: James Sexton, General Secretary of the National Union of Dock Labourers and Riverside Workers at 17 Norton St., Liverpool to W[alter] D. Hobson, at Port Penrhyn, Bangor; thanking him for his letter of the 4th. Mention of Sir George Askwith [to whom in Oct. 1916, application was made for Arbitration on advance of wages controversy at Port Penrhyn Slate Yard]. States that he has no jurisdiction over men at Port Madoc [Porthmadog] for they were members of the London Dockers’ Organisation. But offers his influence.
