View from above of the cargo steamer West Chatala in No. 9 dock, Manchester. A vessel of the Lykes Lines. Built 1919. Acquired by Lykes Lines in 1933. 6,187 tons gross. Steam turbine powered. Sold to France early in World War II and renamed Ile de Ouessant and badly damaged in air attack on Casablanca, Nov.8 1942, and later broken up. Glass positive.
