GLYNLLIFON: CYNLLUNIAU YSTAD
GLYNLLIFON: ESTATE PLANS

Gan amlaf, mae’r cynlluniau yma yn perthyn i ffabrig eiddo yr ystâd, er bod ychydig o fesuriadau tir, mapiau o dir a chynlluniau ar gyfer peiriannau ac arsefydliadau yma hefyd. Darganfuwyd y mwyafrif o’r dogfennau gyda’i gilydd yn swyddfa’r ystâd, er bod ychydig o ddogfennau a ddarganfuwyd ymysg y gweddill o archif yr ystâd wedi eu rhestri yma hefyd. Caiff dogfennau amrywiol, a gafodd eu darganfod gyda’r cynlluniau ond sydd heb unrhyw gysylltiad amlwg gyda hwy, eu rhestri yn y prif gatalog o ddogfennau. Serch hyn, fe gadwyd llythyrau, manylion ayb sydd yn ymwneud â’r cynlluniau ystâd yn y rhan yma o Archif Newborough. Rhestrwyd cynlluniau na chafwyd o hyd iddynt gyda’r mwyafrif o’r cynlluniau, ac sydd gyda pherthynas cynhenid i ddogfennau eraill, ym mhrif gorff yr Archif.

These plans relate mainly to the fabric of estate properties, although there are some surveys and maps of lands and plans of machinery and installations. The bulk were found together in the estate office, although a few which have been found among the rest of the estate’s large archive have been listed here. Miscellaneous documents which had no apparent connection with the plans listed here but which were found with them have been listed in the main catalogue of documents. However, letters, specifications etc. linked to plans listed here have been retained in this part of the Newborough Archive. Plans which had an organic relationship with other documents and which were not found with the main bulk of plans have been retained in the main corpus of the Archive and listed there.

Page Language

In accord with normal archival practice in Wales, details of documents are presented in the language of the document. Where details appear in Welsh, then Welsh is the language in which the document is written; where they are in English, the document is in English.
