LETTER: J. Williams Ellis, Glasfryn to Lord Newborough, referring to his Lordship’s subscription to the founding of a new school at Llanaelhaearn. He mentions volunteers who have promised to help build the school; and his proposal to ask Mr. L. Wynne for the plans of the school at Edern. He wishes to meet his Lordship in Caernarfon any Petty Sessions day, and refers to an area of land to be mapped. Attached: REPLY (2 February): by Lord Newborough re the land J.W.E. proposes to enclose. Lord Newborough refers to the fact that the boundary was unknown even in 1790.
