LETTER: Wm. Elias, The Abbey to Lord Newborough, discussing an application for a take note on the estate in Dolgarrog wood by Richard Evans of Llanllyfni, who already works a quarry there, and H. Hughes of Trefriw. They will probably have a trial first. He asks Lord Newborough to give Richard Thomas a lease so he can lodge it with his club and get money. He has been blasting already. Also discusses the building of the tower.
